MAGGOTS!!!!!!!!!!! My 7yr old daughter sucked a maggot up through her straw and spit it out on a sheet she was coloring. There was absolutely NO mistaking what it was. We showed it to the entire hibachi table and asked the server to get the mgr. She refused by lying and said she was the mgr, snatched the paper, and discarded it. We went up front and waited for the ACTUAL manager who did not say/offer ANYTHING besides an excuse to say they just must be inside the cups. Poor daughter is horrified. Thank goodness we hadn’t started eating yet. RUN.
If in Buford, this isn’t the first place you should seek sushi. The available rolls are lack in creativity and presentation. I’ve visited this place maybe 6 times, and each time I walk away unimpressed. I wouldn’t be so harsh, but if you’re going to use ‘sushi’ as part of your name, you should do it justice. This place doesn’t, and 9 out of ten things I’ve tried here don’t taste fresh… Or taste of much at all actually. My girlfriends and I love to keep a running score of sushi around town, and on a 1-5 scale, these offerings consistently run a 1-3 (if lucky). The ambiance of the restaurant is great, but if you’re looking to excite your taste buds and try something yummy, this isn’t the place to go. Lack of creativity, presentation, taste, and freshness. After multiple visits trying out various menu items, I won’t be returning here ever again for sushi/sashimi/nigiri.
