I absolutely adore this place! My family and I tried almost everything on the menu & were astonished! From the food to the owners. We went today after church for my first time & will defiantly be going back!
THE DAWG HOUSE! I feel like a fat kid in a burger shop. yes, I know it’s called the DAWG house but for someone who LOVES burgers, I can not ask for anything more. so many different options to choose from. you have the big georgia, big new yorker, the big philly, the big mexico, my favorite the BIG….. ALPINE, topped with swiss cheese and sauted mushrooms and a half pound of angus beef on a sesame seed bun. that’s just a couple to name from many. my mouth is drooling thinking about it. along side with the fries and onion rings that really make you smile. the menu is amazing. you would think, oh just a little hotdog stand with a red roof but no. this beautiful, quint, small with a big yard place and a lovely menu is amazing. the people who work there, which is a family, (you know how I love family operated business) are just the nicest people. the owner is the sweetest lady and just makes you feel so at ease being almost overwhelmed at the menu and not knowing what you want. I lived in suwanee for a couple years and have been to the dawg house multiple times and now that I live in new york it’s a gem that I miss. I do always make my way whenever I visit my family back in georgia. the best success to those people, they’re really amazing and the best of wishes!
Chicago dog!!!. This place is AWESOME!! I ordered the Chicago dog, one of the best dogs to ever touch my tongue! Must try if your in the Buford area
Based on reviews we thought enough to try the DAWG HOUSE since we were in the area. Sadly, we were disappointed. The Hamburger my wife ordered was obviously a frozen patty, not fresh beef. My SlawDawg was pretty good, not something to sing about though. The fries were good, but the supposed beer batters Onion Rings were sub par! All in all, we were expecting more.
Visiting from Michigan and stumbled apon this spot. Detroit is known for their hot dawgs. This place was amazing. 5 stars. And the service was amazing.

My brother took me and my kids there and I had a chili slaw dog that had been deep fried in bacon (yes that’s what I said) and it was worth all the heartburn I will have tonight! Outstanding. And great service too!
