Love this place and go often. Always has specials and something yummy for everyone. There is a large selection of wing sauces. Flat beards are all good and the appetizers are yummy especially the house chips or steal town spudz. One of my other favorites is the make your own hamburgers

Something just not quite right here…. Wild Wing Cafe is a fairly recent addition to Statesboro. Everything is sparkling and clean. WWC is usually a festive spot to down a few beers and watch the TVs on weekends. Having been to numerous WWCs over the years, this is what I intended to experience. Sadly, this location simply does not seem to deliver.First off, on a game day, the restaurant perhaps had six tables with diners. The hostess sat us on the glass patio all by ourselves. While it was quieter, it was also about ten degrees colder than the main dining area. When our waitress arrived, she commented on why were were seated by ourselves in the cold and promptly moved us to a better table where it was comfortable. We are still pondering why we were hidden away by the hostess. We discovered that the beer choices were grossly overpriced. We were quoted $15 for a standard pitcher of domestic beer! Seriously? My dining party began to understand why the restaurant was not very crowded. We thought the food would make up for everything up to that point. We were so very wrong. When the fried wings have the flavor of old and overused grease, either corners are being cut, or there is no one properly supervising the kitchen. Those wings were uneaten. The grilled wings were passable, but somewhat undercooked. The fries looked good, but arrived lukewarm at best. It was not just one menu item that was bad, all of our orders were substandard.I must point out that our waitress was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, she was about the only thing WWC had going for it during our visit. She tried to make our dining experience enjoyable, but she was just not able to salvage the disaster.Normally, I do my best to focus on the positive aspects of a restaurant. OK, the bathroom was very clean, the booths were comfortable and clean, and the TVs all had excellent pictures. As for the food and beverages, my suggestion is to plan on dining somewhere else.Wild Wing Cafe in Statesboro will not be seeing my business anymore.
