Service and food quality are poor. Tired of dealing with the ignorance of the staff there. They obviously do not train their servers correctly. Food quality is poor. Their 50% off sushi does not pertain to their tuna hand rolls located under the sushi roll part of the menu. I ate there tonight and questioned why I was paying full price for the tuna hand rolls and was told that they are not discounted. I even mentioned it to the server before the order. They give you less food on $1 sushi night. Sometimes I cannot see the tuna in my sushi roll it is so small. There is no way they are giving you the correct ounces when ordering you meat in the hibachi. Been eating there since 2003 and I am done.
Good food, bad service.. The sushi chef is amazing. The hibachi chefs are average, their food is good. The servers are horrible. You will often have better luck getting a hostess to serve you than your server. Most the time I go my server stands behind the bar with their back turned to guests watching TV or talking to other servers. Worst experience there I had to walk to the hostess stand 5 times to ask for drink refills, eel sauce, chopsticks. All things I had asked my server for when she brought the sushi out. I tried physically waving her over while she hid behind the bar, still in her eye sight of me, and she just ignored me. Don’t expect a friendly greeting, a smile, proactive service, or refills on your drinks from most the servers there. In fact, unless it’s 50% off sushi or hibachi, I wouldn’t recommend going at all. I’ve been there well over 2 dozen times between November and February. I’ve had good service one time and I made sure I tipped really well that time. Unfortunately the next time I had that server she only took my order and brought the check. The rest was from others doing her her job. Avoide the dinner rush if 50% off, wait time is usually 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, during weekdays. Weekends are worse.

Great Food. I love this place I have ate here several times I get the fillet and shrimp with a salad and fried rice everything is good the crab rangoon is very good my favorite Japanese steak house
Japanese egg roll. Corny jokes, but good food. If you haven’t already, try the submarine roll.
