Best Mexican Food in West Georgia with much more reasonable prices. I love Mexican food. I spent a great deal of my life in El Paso, Southern Arizona and New Mexico where it easy to find authentic, flavorful Mexican food but here in West Georgia? Not so much. But, La Vaquerita is the closest I have come outside the tacos I found in a Mexican grocer in Cedartown (it’s unfortunately closed now). My sons and I have tried many dishes, but the Tacos (chicken and asada especially) can not be beat.. They are simple with corn tortillas, meat, cilantro and onions. I’d eat them every week if I could. The Tortas (a sandwich) are delicious, and another favorite is the Chile Relleno. Its not breaded like many of the chains around here, but a straight up whole Poblano Pepper stuffed with delicious beef (or chicken) and covered in cheese and red sauce. The salsa is simple yet delicious, my teenagers can never get enough of it. The prices are much cheaper than bigger chains in the area and in my opinion the flavor and quality is much better.The service is friendly and attentive and I have enjoyed our mostly bi-monthly visits.I highly recommed skipping the other Mexican food in town and try out this place, every one I have taen there has loved it and you will, too.

Almost everything at this restaraunt is what you’d come to expect from any other Mexican establishment in town. For myself, what separates it are their tacos. Forgo the standard numbered combos for a selection of many different types of meat filled tacos you can find on the back. Spread the homemade sauce they include liberally and you won’t be disappointed.
