This is a chain which stays pretty consistent though this menu seemed smaller but with new selections. The table side guacamole is great. We ordered some of the special dishes such as Parrillada & two new dishes Rollos de Fajita, El Dorado all were delicious. Our waiter was extremely attentive.
Terrible customer service, wait staff talking and huddled around instead of taking care of customers. Ordered a pitcher of Texas margs, disappointing to say the least. Not much alcohol and mix tasted like it came out of a bag like at Chili’s. Food was OK, nothing outstanding, won’t be back!
Great menu and pricing. I’ve been here now twice and both times were great. Coming from a Latin family, it’s hard to find good Spanish food while traveling abroad.
Driving through Georgia on the way home to Tennessee. Stopped at Las Palmas for Mother’s Day lunch. Greeted in the lobby we had to wait for a couple to take their picture before they would even seat us. The hostess was rude and made a smart comment before seating us. The server was inattentative and more concerned with texting on his phone then coming over to take our order. Once the food arrived it was cold. Beware ordering their grandes dip they charge you $7 and it is the size of the salsa container that you get at your table when sitting down. We asked the server is this the grande he said yes although it felt as if he couldn’t understand us If you were going to have a restaurant make sure your servers know how to speak the language of the country you are. It took an hour and a half to eat Mexican food most of the wait time was for waiting on the server to either come take our order or bring us the check. Be leery when you go to a restaurant on a busy holiday and they are not busy there may be a eeason. This place lacks customer service, professionalism, and a desire to serve hot and tasty Mexican food such a shame too because the atmosphere was wonderful and it could have been a good experience had we had people who really cared about whether or not we were there. Will never ever come back.
Driving thru Georgia to head back to the Midwest, found this place on Yelp. The salsa made a pretty good first impression. The rest of the food was really tasty as well…fresh and hot. Enchilada had my favorite–yellow corn tortilla–and was topped with some of the best red enchilada sauce I’ve had anywhere. Definitely worth a stop!
Great menu. One of the more diverse in the Cartersville area
My favorite Las Palmas. I have never been to a restaurant chain that has better chips & salsa than Las Palmas. I have eaten here a few times, and the food is just as good as other Las Palmas.Interesting note: Unlike other Las Palmas that I have been too. This one actually mixes some cilantro into the salsa, and just like the good Las Palmas chains, this one gives everyone their own salsa bowl.I have also noticed this Las Palmas has special discounts on each day of the week. I am not sure if other Las Palmas have started doing it, but this is the first Las Palmas I have noticed to start doing it regularly. The fact this place combines all the best parts of the other Las Palmas chains, and includes cilantro in the salsa, coupled with special discounts, makes this my favorite Las Palmas. Hands Down.
