What a relic… My family and I have eaten there on numerous occasion and not once have been disappointed. Yes, the place is quite outdated but that is what makes it stand out. Excellent food and outstanding prices. It has consistently stayed neck and neck with the lobster. Many thought that it would take the Catch down but it only increased business. 30+years and still going strong! Salute
I’ve been dining here with my family since I was a child. Many great seafood dinners were had here. Even though the decor is severely outdated, don’t let it fool you! I usually order the large catch of shrimp. Always fresh tasting. The staff are always friendly. I have a familymember from Florida who requests that we eat here every time he comes into town. Good food & decently priced!
Not everyone’s cup of tea but I like it. My father and I went Thursday 8/23 for the first time. They had a special on popcorn shrimp and two sides. I must say I was pleased. No it isn’t the Ritz Carlton and they certainly are not breaking any culinary ground here, but the food was good. My hush puppies were just as I remember a favorite aunt making them. The shrimp were breaded just right. The salad was crisp and the 1000 Island dressing similar to my grandmothers. No I won’t bring my snobby food friends here but all my friends that want to eat good simple food, in an environment where the staff take good care of you, those will be my dining partners that Fisherman’s. Wow just writing this review has made me hungry for their popcorn shrimp.
I have eaten at this restaurant 3 times over the years I’ve been in gwinnett. The food is barely edible. Even their hushpuppies are terrible. It is unbelievable to me that this place has a 97% like rating!!!! I think people in south gwinnett just do not know any better!
Great seafood. This place is consistently good. Their hushpuppies are phenomenal and the food is priced low. Tuesdays are all you can eat crab legs. I always get their gulf shrimp entree, but there isn’t anything bad on the menu.
Good food at reasonable price. No liquor.
