Exceeds expectations!. My husband and I went to Au Rendezvous-Vous for our anniversary a few weeks ago. We ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts and every dish was fantastic. Today I went there for lunch with a friend. We ordered crepes and the croquet Monsieur. Both dishes were great. I can hardly wait to go back.
Love it. We go here all the time for lunch, and it is always delicious and fresh.
Horrible Microwaved Food. Absolutely awful food.The worst escargot I have every had. They tasted hot, straight from the microwave.Probably the worst calamari ever. They tasted frozen, store-bought, not handmade, and popped in the microwave.The entrees were just awful also. Everything tasted pre-made, then popped in the microwave. Dried out pre-cooked meats. Everything too hot from the microwave.Yes, the price for entrees is very cheap. And you can bring your own wine. That must be the only reason anybody gives it a good review, because it has very low prices.This is a restaurant with horrible microwaved food, bad service, bad atmosphere, nothing positive other than it is cheap.
A non-flashy, hole in the wall oasis. The salmon crepe is perfect. The shrimp crepe is also pretty amazing. Perfect place for one of those ‘more people need to know about this place, but I hope they don’t’ kinda moments. You need to eat here… Lunch menu is great, too!
A hidden GEM. Classic French bistro cuisine with hints of Algiers, this delightful little restaurant should be visited regularly, and can be, since its offerings are so modestly priced. We have enjoyed sole with a mushroom sauce, rabbit with a mustard sauce, a chicken in a pepper sauce, and a cassoulet. No shortcuts taken; all excellent. They serve beer and wine, and the latter is a rather limited menu, but they allow one to bring one’s own wine, and did not charge corkage when other beverages are also ordered. Escargot as good as in Bourgogne; crme brulee as good as any in Paris.
Cuisine Francais Superbe!. Au Rendezvous is just about perfect. The French cuisine is superb, and the lovely family who own this little restaurant are lovely. Prices are reasonable, and I’ve not had a bad meal yet. They desperately need more signage out front at their new location, and they need word of mouth. This restaurant is too good not to survive. Enjoy and spread the word! Et bon appetit!!
French done by Vietnamese – love it!. Perhaps because I am Asian and feel a connection to this restaurant, but this is my new favorite french spot. I like that everything is made on the premises. I think they have the best escargots, crepes, and ice cream. Always a delight to dine at this friendly restaurant.
