The crawfish poboy was very good. Crawfish was crispy but not overcooked and seasoned well. Bread was lightly toasted and not too dense. The boiled crawfish was excellent! It was seasoned very well but may be a little on the spicy side for some. My family is from New Orleans and compared to home cooked food I was very pleased! Another customer there from Louisiana said it was the next best thing to home. I look forward to going back. If atmosphere is important to you, it is very casual.
First time we went, we had oyster po boys…everything was fine except the bread is just too dense….second time we went there, had fried catfish and shrimp…catfish was outstanding , however shrimp, while seasoned well, were overcooked…side items were fine and loved the corn on the cob and its Cajun twist….also excellent raw, fresh shrimp and fish at a good price…will definitely go back!
Loved the food!! Seasoned so well. Crawfish was spicy and shrimp was amazing. Prices are reasonable for portions. Service was bad! Felt like teenagers running a restaurant alone. Atmosphere is lacking but food makes up for it and then some. Happy we drove the 20min there!
Holy Jesus! $8 for a lb of crawfish. Sorry but that’s just CRAY!!!! I think they mix frozen crawfish into the batch. To save them money and rip you off. Southern Seafood has WAY better crawfish for $5 a lbs and always fresh.
We use to be regulars at Crawfish Shack, but not anymore. Approximately 5-6 months ago we started to notice the service was getting extremely poor and the prices on food were going up. We have no problem spending money on a good meal, but $8.00 for a pound of crawfish is ludacris. Back to the real complaint, service and wait times. I completely understand that you are not a fast food establishment, but I am aware that all you serve is boiled and fried food. The last couple of times we ate here we waited 30 minutes in line to order and 40 minutes to receive our food. By the time we ate lunch it had taken over 2 hrs which is unacceptable. If you want real seafood at a great price I recommend trying these spots. Sorry Crawfish Shack . Boudreaux’s Cafe AcadiaOn the bayou
Rude Manager. The manager had a terrible attitude and was rude to us when we visited. The food was excellent (prices average), but so is the food at countless other restaurants in the metro Atlanta area. We’ll go somewhere else from now on, restaurants that treat the people who are giving them money with courtesy and respect.
This place is awesome !!! Smells so good inside !!
