Rude old lady. The food was great it was the rude old lady taking your order that left a bad taste in my mouth…..She was the most rude bitter person ive ever met…..If she hates her job that bad and is so miserable she needs to quit….Doubt ill go back!!!!!!!!
Good food, nice people. I have to totally disagree with some of the comments. I’ve lived in Dalton/Chatsworth my entire life but have only been eating here for a couple of years. My family has never had a single bad experience at the Creme Hut. The owners are always extremely nice, the food is good and comes out in good time, the restaurant has never been dirty, etc. I’ve never found the staff to be rude, one of the young waitresses can be overly talkative at times but that’s nothing uncommon with servers imo. We eat here a couple of times per month and have had about everything on the menu. The Hamburger Steak is fantastic, their fried Shrimp are really good, and grilled chicken is also really good. For Chatsworth, it’s by far the best place to get a Hamburger or Hamburger Steak in town.
Wow, I have to agree totally with Gordo. Very unpleasant place to eat. The waitresses are daddy’s little girls with no concept of customer service. What service there is, is slow, inaccurate, and with a poor attitude. Food servings are very tiny. Just a local joint catering to local cheerleading mom and dads. 0 Forks.
Terrible food, very, very small servings! Service is missing and the attitudes of the young ladies are of entitlement. The girls have very poor manners and customer service skills. Sorry, but you’ll see this when you go there and you will probably not go back. You’re better off at Steak and Shake.
My All-Time Favorite Place!. Creme Hut is a local favorite. It has been around since about 1968–it was a great hang-out in my high-school days, and still is. They only recently moved to their new location, an old Texaco station. They’ve decorated with vintage ads, old oil cans, and local photos. Casual dining: the food is great. Old-fashioned hamburgers, onion rings, fries, home fries, sundaes, teriyaki chicken, egg-and-olive sandwiches, British club sandwiches… lots of good choices.
I’ve lived in Chatsworth, Ga my whole life. Creme Hut us a staple in this community. This family owned business has thrived for years and rightly so. The food is fantastic! My favorites are the hamburger steak with grilled onions, fries and cole slaw. The onion rings and cheese sticks are great too!
NOSTAGIA. Step back into time with this place. Drove by thinking this was a old gas station. realized the small sign that says creme hut outside. looks like a texaco station that was back into the 50’s from the outside. Once you go inside your welcomed by a older lady and gentleman who are very happy to show you the place. from the black and white floor tile to the round soda shop tables in the seating area feels like a scene from the movie Pleasantville. This would be a great place for old car shows etc. The hand scooped ice cream is very good You have got to try the peach ice cream with real chunks of peach in it. they also offer other cooked foods. (glad i had the chance to take my mom here) she was so impressed. Food prices very reasonable. IF YOUR DRIVING THREW ITS A MUST STOP.
