I have lived in Chatsworth most of my life and have always wanted to tryout Little Rome. It was the biggest mistake of my life. My husband and I will never go back. The food is overpriced and tasteless. 40.00 for lunch and we ordered off of the kids menu. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!
Little Rome is Great. I love Little Rome. The other reviewers who have wrote negative things are not being honest. I have ate at Little Rome for almost 30 years and have never had a bad experience.
Over priced. I’ve been eating here for years but my wife and I decided we are through. The prices have went up again recently and the food is still mediocre at best. My wife, 6yr old daughter and I will go and order a Med Pizza (2 toppings), 2 salads, and 3 drinks, the price is approx $40 + tip. Pizza is good, but again way over priced. Everything else on the menu taste’s frozen, and last visit I actually asked a waitress what/if anything was made fresh, the reply was the salad bar LOL. The restaurant is always dark and lacking any atmosphere. I really wish Restaurant Impossible would come to Little Rome, but then again they’re packed most nights when I drive by. I would love an Italian Restaurant in Chatsworth that actually cooked rather than heat frozen food.
Good food. I have been eating at Little Rome since I was a child. I love the pizza and my family has never complained about any other dish. The prices are a bit much, though that seems to be common with many locally owned pizza places. The salad bar was disappointing and pricey for the options available. I’ve never had poor service, the staff has always been friendly.
Mussolini’s Revenge. I have been here twice, just in case the first time was a bad day. Both times, the food is tasteless and expensive, the salad bar is a joke, and the atmosphere is non-existent. Both times, they had too-loud alternative music (I guess an Italian CD was too much to hope for…) playing over the speakers, the waitress had on shorts and an frumpy T-shirt that would’ve even been out of place at a truck stop, my plate was chipped, the cutlery was spotted, as was the glass, and the food was the worst Italian I have ever had…no flavor at all, and on top of that, it was cold.This happened both times, first with lasagna, and the 2nd time with spaghetti. I’ve had better Italian out of a can…..Next time you are passing by, do your self a favor and keep passing by…Pizza Hut is right up the road.
Edward is full of it .. Little Rome is not a very good place to eat at all .
