Classy Gas Station. My husband and I went here after a full day of hiking and touring waterfalls. We were a mess, but this upscale restaurant seated us just the same. This very nicely remodeled gas station is a pricey but worth-it experience. It is on the main drag and should be easier to find than it was due to the cryptic signage (the A is a house, so it looks like the restaurant name is Ttic). On to the food…my husband ordered the applewood smoked bacon cheeseburger, and it looked delish…big and juicy and cumbersome to eat. 😉 The steak fries were fine, though we prefer crinkle cut. My meal was the winner…Chicken Rollatini…an excellent and filling choice. This chicken breast stuffed with cheese, spinach, and portabella mushroom is topped with a scrumptious teriyaki glaze reminiscent of TGIFriday’s Jack Daniel’s sauce. They were out of mashed potatoes, so I ordered the baked sweet potato which was huge and came with a side of butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Entrees come with bread with olive oil and vinegar for dipping and a side salad with fancy lettuces. All in all, well worth the price for plentiful portions and just what we needed after a day of strenuous activity.
