We’re going back. Soon!. The decor is little tired and the (women’s) bathroom is something less than pristine but the food is DELICIOUS and service was very good. We had the Saag Paneer (spinach with cheese chunks; ordered mild but will do medium next time*) and Chicken Kormo (curry chicken plus nuts & raisins) as well as the bread basket to sample several breads (we liked the Aloo Naan the best). Prices are reasonable and the $7.99 buffet is a fantastic deal. Now, if only they had beer on tap! [sigh] At least there were good choices in bottles. *Today was our first visit and we are already plotting our next! Well done!!

Our new favorite restaurant. It’s not much to look at, but the food is delicious. We found it through Scoutmob. We’re big dumpling fans, and had been wanting to try momos for a couple of years, so we went right away. We’ve been back four or so times and done take-out a couple of times too. The momos are lovely dumplings with thin wrappers and savory fillings. In the restaurant, they come with a fantastic little bowl of clear soup, but if you order them for take-out, no extra soup. Ah well. A good reason to come in for your meal. We’re also taken with the thukpa, which is a lot like ramen (fresh, not the box kind), but with more of the good stuff – plenty of meat and veggies to go with your noodles. And the sekuwa is luscious – skewers of meat with plently of hot peppers, tomatos, onions, and other lovely vegetables and spices. We are tempted to eat too much every time. Some of us resist. We keep asking for the goat sekuwa, because goat is so tasty, but they haven’t had it yet. I sometimes wonder if Atlanta restaurants put goat dishes on the menu as wishful thinking. We haven’t tried most of the Indian food here. We had a thali on our first visit, and it was competent but not nearly as interesting as the Nepalese specialties. There are a few Nepalese vegetarian dishes that look intriguing, but the momos, thukpa, and sekuwa are so good, we have yet to decide to eat anything different after the first visit. It’s never been busy when we were there. We’re hoping more people will find it and eat there so they can stay open and we can keep eating dumplings and noodle soup.

Fabulous Food!. Kathmandu supplied some of the food for the Carmen Deedy event on Nov 17th, and it tasted great! Definitely worth eating there in the future!

Great Food & Service!!. Just ordered 160 meals for our Non-Profit organization’s team meeting, and many tried it for the first time. We were completely satisfied with the taste, service and price of food Kathmandu Kitchen offered us. We will certainly recommend them to everyone and even come back to order more in future, Thanks Tim! – Wayne (Operation Mobilization USA, Tyrone GA)
