Not impressed. I had read several reviews about what an awesome culturally diverse place this was with relatively good food at a reasonable price. My husband and I went and we were the only people in the restaurant, there was no band (but then maybe we were there a little too early), and my meal was not impressive. The lamb was sinewy and I could hardly eat any of it. The best part of the whole experience was the hookah we smoked after dinner.
A Taste of Northern Africa in Clarkston. Eritrea is a multilingual and multicultural country whose foodstuffs reflect the blending of spices and ingredients. I found the plating to be colorful and inviting with plenty of food on their decorative oversized plates. They can satisfy any palate from mild to spicy and vegetarian to meat-lovers. The pricing is reasonable, compared to some other mid-priced eateries. While you dine or drink from the extensive bar you will hear sounds of Eritrean culture, sort of a blend of jazz and African music while watching the majority-rules flat screen televion. Come on down and enjoy a taste of Africa.
