EXCELLENT FOOD FOR VALUE. I come here a lot. Everyone is nice, they give you plenty of food. At night they are rarely busy. Very economical. I read a comment below about the food, the food is good, but just like anywhere else some things are going to be better than others depending on taste. After all, it is a local diner, not designed to be a high end restaurant and certainly not priced that way either. I give them 4 stars considering all factors.
Service sucks!. My family has been going there for about 3 years for a late night of wings. The other day we decided to go early in the evening. After waiting 25 minutes for our drink orders to be taken, I decided to get lemon pepper wings like my son. I ordered the sampler and he got the kids meal. When our food came, the wings didn’t have any flavor so I told the waitress. She said she’d bring us some sauce. She came back with a bowl of butter with pepper in the bottom. I told the owner that it was unacceptable and she blew me off and told me to tell the manager. I finally got the manager to come over and I explained the situation to her. She said she would have them fix it right. I thought the were going to make us a fresh batch of wings – but nooo they refried our wings and puts some lemon juice on them as if that helped. I was furious! I told the lady that was not right and we would be leaving. I asked her to take our food off the bill and she said she could not. She said since my son ate the applesauce and sipped his drink, she would have to charge me for it and since I ate 4 shrimp I would be charged. I was livid but since I had kids with me, I accepted her patronizing attitude, paid and left. Never again!!
Broadway? Ugh…….. I stopped in here late to grab something. This place looks nice and neat on the outside, but dated & confused within. There’s an overall dirty and unorganized feel to it. I didn’t dine in, but I don’t think I’d want to. Not sure what’s up with all the different light fixtures, looks like there’s an identity crisis going on. I ordered two phillies to go, a Shrimp and a Gyro. The Shrimp was decent, but I don’t think I’d eat it again. The Gyro was the better of the two, but both sandwiches were much more drier than I like my Phillies and were amateurish. The small cups of slaw that accompany these sandwiches is pointless AND is the worst slaw I’ve ever had!!!! I’m sure some of the entrees are decent. If I dine in, it would be for lunch, because the night-crowd was a little more than I could handle…..
I like all the food I’ve had here except the eggs benedict because the hollandaise sauce tastes like butter. The service is great. I will come back.
Food is terrible. It is just not what it used to be.
The outside is ran down, grass was tall, nasty looking canopy, and the parking lot is hard to get in. It was a large portion of food per person. The taste of the food is not worth $15.00 per person. The service was okay. Not wasting anymore money here.
It was a great experience tonight at the diner. We loved the food and also the service which is typically hard to have both at one place. The only bad thing I can say about the Restaraunt is that I am stuffed. The portions are huge and very delicious. We topped off the meal with an awesome piece of cake which was huge also. To sum things up, take a trip to broadway diner and enjoy.
