This is East Cobb’s best kept dining experience. You must try the filet and mashed potatoes. Great atmosphere for a romantic night out, the staff is very knowledgeable about the products from the wine to the desserts.
I had the fried shrimp. They were like heaven. Eat here and mention valarie on Fridays
Excellent. Food was expertly prepared. Good portion size and well matched flavors. Cozy, intimate atmosphere. Small, but decent wine list. Great cocktails, they do not skimp on the alcohol. Service was adaquate, nothing to write home about, but attentive and well managed. If this place were in Buckhead, you would easily pay double. And there would be a line to get in every night.
Just Ok. Had dinner here for father’s day. Food was ok. I had the Shrimp and Grits and Pom Martini. My husband had the special Ribeye or something (forgot). I just know it was steak. He was dissappointed because the waiter (Michael) didn’t inform him some sort of sauce came on the steak. Other than that, Michael was pretty good. Hubby likes his steak seasoned with olive oil & s/p. Our child had the burger and fries – didn’t like the buns – ate the meat n few of the fries. All in all it was ok. If we lived closer, would probably visit again. Since we do not, no rush to return.
My new favorite place… I’ve never written a review before but have been so impressed with Chicago’s that I just wanted to share what I feel is the best kept secret in East Cobb.. or maybe Metro Atlanta! Every time I’ve ever passed by Chicago’s I noticed the parking was lot was full.. even weekdays.. and happened to mention it to a friend one night as we passed by.. She told me she has been going there for over 14 years and I was missing out on a good thing. My husband and I went the next night and have been going back every chance we can for the last 2 months. The first night we happened to go we were pleasantly surprised to find out they have an early bird menu (wow!!.. Who else even has an early bird available??) and we were just in time for it!.. We both had the melt in your mouth prime rib , garlic mashed potatoes and house salad and were flabbergasted that they also had a $14 bottle of wine.. We felt like we dined like royalty on a paupers budget.. the service was impeccable.. the atmosphere was charming and we were pleasantly surprised by a visit from the manager making sure our experience was good. (No complaints here!!) We’ve been back 6 times since then and are more impressed every time we go.. One of us always orders the prime rib and then we order another menu item so we can try something new too.. we’ve tried the pecan crusted chicken, the parmesan crust tilapia, shrimp & grits and the mussels( enough for it to be an entree!)..Yum, Yum ,Yum and Yummy… Our salads are always crisp and fresh and the asparagus is the most perfectly cooked asparagus I’ve ever had!! Will we keep going back??.. You betcha and look foward to taking our family when they come in for Christmas!
Excellent food, outstanding service and never had a bad meal. Absolutely love this place…always on my list as a must visit when I’m in town. Don’t miss Chicago’s, you will not regret it!
