Off the Chain Good!!!!. I attended a wedding this weekend, and the food was catered by Grand Champion BBQ!! Everything was soooooo good!!! The Mac & Cheese was to die for, and the meat was smoked to perfection!! The sauce was good too, but it really wasn’t needed!!! The Baked Beans and Collard Greens were off the chain!!!!
Love this place!. My experiences at GCBBQ have always been wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is always clean. All of their rubs are made from scratch and their sauces are exceptionally tasty. The Mac is a favorite of mine – it’s a little heavy, but it is out of this world delicious. The meats are always cooked to perfection. They take pride in their food and it shows!
Not worth going to!. BBQ is only okay and the staff is rude to the customers. The selection of sides is weak and most taste like they come from the grocery store! Don’t waste your time going here.
Some of the worst BBQ. Drove out to find some decent BBQ. Watch them take the ribs out of a foil wrapper from the warmer, drop them on a plate and hand the ribs to us. No spice, no sauce, just plain lukewarm meat with no texture. We took them hope and heated them up so they actually had a temperature. Added some sauce and made them slightly more palatable.Was so enraged by the terrible ribs i forgot what else i ordered. who cares.
Ordinary food at a high price. I can’t say that there was anything especially memorable at all – except for the high prices. The restaurant isn’t impressive, and it isn’t competitive. That’s hardly an incentive to return.
Expensive! But delicious! I had BB ribs w/ collards and Mac/cheese. Killer.
