Delicious, fresh, and very well-priced. I just ordered the chicken with garlic sauce and have officially fallen in love with this place. I’ve been searching for a great Chinese place around the area, and this is it!
Delivery home bound people. I order food 3 times it was awful their was no pineapple in it lately their food has gone down hill I’m tired of telling them their problem I will not be ordering anymore food it’s sad they did bring another food but it still wasn’t that good they still need cooking lessons
I love it. This is some of the best Chinese take-out I have ever had. Everything is cooked to order. Nothing is brought in in jars or cans to pour over food. It’s all top notch and you can tell in how incredibly delicious it is. I highly recommend this place.
By Far, The Best Chinese Food in East Cobb. My wife and I tried Hong Kong Star for the first time last night and truly did not have high expectations, mainly because of the name. As silly as that may sound, the name did not scream quality but, to us, sounded more like a Chinese buffet.The decor is quite elegant, sort of a midtown feel, and the staff is courteous and offered prompt, crisp, and flawless service which we have not found to be the case in any Chinese restaurant in the area. The food was absolutely outstanding with the most notable point of difference being that they seem to use top quality ingredients and the taste and portions were superb.I highly recommend Hong Kong Star and am already looking forward to my next visit.
Just had lunch here for the first time. It’ll be the last time, too. Their curry dish wasn’t too curry, but lots of curry flavored and uncooked green peppers, red peppers and uncooked onions. Yuck!
The first 2 times we went we were in love. Now, not so much, detail and taste are suffering. I was very put off by the charges for every little thing. I was more put off by the owner and her arrogance. Shame, really, given I was was recommending to all, now the opposite. We will not return.
Eastcobber. Very good Chinese with atmosphere more like a nice mid-town restaurant. Upscale and relaxing unlike many restaurants in East Cobb. Very interesting menu including live lobster and crab. I’m trying one of those on my next visit. Three Star Mongolian was excellent. Lots of flavor, much better than most. Currently Monday and Tuesday are half price wines during happy hour, whatever time that may be. Much better than most in the area. Desert which was included came with the standard fortune cookie and orange slice, but also a small cake. Just enough sweet to finish off the meal. More of an adult atmosphere that the usual East Cobb, let the kids run wild, venue. Of course, it wasn’t Friday night. I highly recommend it.
