Great Food…Nasty Attitude. Outstanding food, but when an issue is address with the staff they are full of excuses and rudeness. They need to learn how to speak to customers and not have an attitude like the customer needs them as there are many Chinese Restaurants in the area. They could increase their wealth if their character was at the same level of excellence as the food.

Bad service, cold food and a general manager who does not practice good customer service.. Waiter forgot that we had ordered soup. All the food, including the soup was barely lukewarm. Reheating did not help – still barely warm. General Manager – Johnny – full of himself and not willing to make a customer happy in appropriate manner, namely, not letting me pay overpriced cost for a bad meal and offering free dinner for two next time (hopefully better food and service). Made excuse that kitchen had a problem that made it necessary to keep outside door open so kitchen was 55 degrees. He should have closed for the evening and had the problem fixed so that he could open the next day and not have cold food. The only suffering a customer should have is that they are closed not that the food is cold and there is shoddy service. He needs lessons in customer service from Food Network chefs — the ones who fix bad restaurants. I will never return and when someone tells me they heard it was good I will tell them about our experience. House of Lu needs to go away. The Great Wall takeout at Sandy Plains and Scufflegrit Roads in Marietta is far superior in taste and appearance and is served HOT. Plenty of protein. Stays hot for the trip home and the portions are larger. House of Lu is our third experience with Chinese restaurants with too high prices, not good food and lousy service. Is this a trend? Score: 1 out of 10 — the decor is okay.
Poor service. Love the Marietta Square location. Waitress in Powder Springs was rude and not helpful at all. We will never eat there again.

Best Chinese in the South. I’ve been to some really bad Chinese restaurants since moving from up north. House of Lu is the ONLY and I repeat only place that serves excellent quality food for a great price. I use to live in Marietta and my husband and I moved closer to the city for less of a job commute. However, I make the commute back to Marietta at least twice of month for take out!! Best takeout. This is my favorite Asian takeout. Great service and consistantly good food. I like a place I can count on!
