I’m sitting at Moxie Burger as I’m writing this review. Got the snoop dog hotdog. Awesome. Hebrew National with great chili purple onions and cheese. The fries are cut and made to order apparently cause they rock. Yeah this is on my list of places to stop when I’m coming home up Johnson Ferry. I like.
My favorite is the Gobbler!!!
All around decent choice. I eat here once a week, on average. The burger choices are decent, and I appreciate their attempt to create something different from the norm. Their fried green tomatoes are particularly yummy, either as a stand alone or on the Moxie burger. The sweet potato fries still need a little fine tuning, as far as I’m concerned, they’re a little too sweet & desserty. I prefer them to be more savory. The guys that run the place are nice and are really invested in Moxie being an awesome experience.
Really fresh burgers, interesting toppings, and killer fries. It’s a little expensive for a burger, but I’ve never been disappointed with my food.
A really nice find close to the house. Second trip this week. Both the moxie and heater hit the mark. Great outdoor seating and beer on tap. Kids menu delighted the youngsters.
I am glad that this place has opened around the corner. I had the Cadillac lamb burger and thought it was great. Fried onion straws went well with the burger. The staff is extremely polite and attentive. Only thing I would change is being able to order beer at the table. You pay for you order at Tue counter so you kinda need to prepay for your beer. On another visit I had a hot dog and it was exactly what I had in mind. Overall I would recommend Moxie if you are in the mood for a delicious burger or a hot dog.
