After reading some of the bad reviews, I have to say in defense of this place, u have to know what to order. I personally get the curry chicken add black mushrooms, no green peppers. Extra spicy. And it’s delicious.
One Should Get What One Pays For. This isn’t my usual kind of review, but rip-offs like this makes me angry…..I’ve had bronchitis for the last few days, and hadn’t been eating. After filling a prescription at the neighboring Walgreens, I had a hankering for eggdrop wonton soup. I waited in the car as my husband went in to purchase a quart.A quart is 32 ounces. What they gave us were two small styrofoam containers — at most 8 ounces each. Huh?! (The soup by the way was tasteless, the wontons doughy; the only good touch was added chunks of tofu.)With the number of Chinese restaurants in the area, we will certainly not return to this place.
Used to be good…. … but not any more. Hubby and went for lunch today. The wonton soup was barely warm & the egg roll was frozen and tasted like card board. I had beef and vegetables – it wasn’t horrible, it just wasn’t all that good either. The fried rice that came with the entree seemed like nothing more than white rice tossed with some soy sauce. Hubby ordered beef lo mien. He didn’t like it – it came with no veggies and from where I sat, looked very bland. The service was OK, but not good enough to write our lunch off as a bad day in the kitchen. I used to eat in this restaurant quite often several times a month and it was always good. Sorry to see that’s changed.
Food is so-so, and most of the staff is rude. I wouldn’t waste your money here.
Hot-sour soup weak today
Good!. My favorite place for Chinese. Awesome Mongolian Beef. And tea. And steamed rice with the sauce from Mongolian Beef. AND Wonton Soup…AND…I could go on forever.
Yummy!. I eat at or take out from New Lucky China at least once a month. The Sesame Bean Curd is amazing!!! As is the Mu Shu Chicken.
