The grits were my favorite! This was our first visit to Reveille, the food was wonderful, service was great and everything was clean. I had the basil tomato eggs with chicken sausage and grits. The pumpkin spice latte was as good as Starbucks. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful with recommendations. We will definitely be back.
There is not a lot around this area for breakfast, so it is this or eat at home. I had a Belgian waffle and it was good. My daughter had a kids Oreo pancake. Her pancake was not fully cooked, and because she is 3 she didn’t really care, but it grossed me out. She did finish off my waffle though so maybe in her own way she did care. The place is kid friendly and there were lots of families. The place really does not know what it wants to be, a classic greasy spoon or upscale breakfast. Coffee was pretty bad, but good for a greasy spoon, but for the price no way. Judgmental rating: I give this a Mel Gibson, it appears to be laid back, but under the covers it is pretty judgy.
Great breakfast spot!. Always a good experience going to Reveille, the staff is always friendly and the owner is wonderful. I love the firecracker omlete and the daily quiche they serve! It’s hard to find places that even have quiche as a special let alone different flavors every day. Will likely always return!
Great place! Really good food, involved wait staff that truly cares about your experience. Specials are always worth trying, e.g., eggs Benedict for $5.00.
Great Place for Breakfast. There was a day I craved breakfast because I did not have any. I tried there Lemon Pancakes with a cup of coffee. They were one of the best pancakes I ever had. I went there for lunch another day and had there dynomite burger which was pretty good. I really enjoyed there pancakes. Its a neat place to have breakfast and have a cup of coffee.
Disappointed. I was so glad to see a full breakfast restaurant in the area and felt it was much needed. People have been saying how a good breakfast restaurant would do well here. Unfortunately, this restaurant disappoints. The atmosphere is clean but unassuming and austere, the wait staff friendly but the food and coffee is mediocre at best and yet the prices are high (for what you get). Apparently, this is a spinoff of J Christopher/s and you can see that in their menu. Restaurants in the immediate area that offer good food for a reasonable price do extremely well. Reveille falls short. I’ve tried them twice and won’t go back again.
My husband and I visited on 5/4/13 and very much enjoyed it. We are somewhat picky customers, but the food was delicious and well priced. I had the strawberry waffle and my husband the eggs Benedict. (They served great coffee, too. Important to know!) Don’t let appearances fool you, this place looks like it wouldn’t be very good because it’s in a strip mall and not very trendy, but it is definitely a good brunch place.
