As close as you are going to get to REAL NY Pizza in GA. My wife and I are both from the North. I was born in NY and raised in CT and she was raised in NJ and since we have been down in GA, there are only a few REAL NY pizza places. Rosa’s is definitely one of them. My kids wanted pizza so we ended up getting them a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni. I got chicken and pepperoni and my wife got fresh tomatoes, fresh garlic and chicken. Everything was awesome. Kudos. Great service and Great food.
Sausage pellets ? Gimme a break. I tried you guys when you opened, tonight confirmed why I haven’t come back. That crust tasted chalky. If I was the owner I would check in on this place and get some taste buds. Really
Good pizza. Greasy though and relatively expensive.
Middle of the road. I find this shop in a good location but poorly served. Pizza is kinda run of the mill when it comes to taste and calzones ( which are pre made and microwaved when ordered) taste like soggy wet bread!! Tired it 4x as i go to HD next door daily and don’t think a 5th time is in the future!!
This is good pizza and the waitresses and hostesses make you feel like cousin Vinny cooked your pizza and then got some action in the hot tub.
Will Be Back. Really enjoyed my first visit at Rosa’s. It’s an order at the counter type place that also serves beer & wine. The pizza dough is excellent!!! Perfectly seasoned. It’s a bit thicker than Fellini’s crust, but thinner than Mellow Mushroom. A perfect bite! Be sure to get the meatballs on the pizza. They are spicy & spectacular. They are very generous with their toppings & all of them are above par tasty! I will definitely be back to try the calzones!!
Yum! I’ll be back!. I craved pizza tonight and didn’t want to drive all the way to get my favorite pizza , so hesitantly took a chance on Rosas. I’m glad I did! Had the hot sausage and mushroom pizza and it was delicious! It didn’t replace my favorite pizza from an italian restaurant in woodstock, but then again, they aren’t the same thing anyway. My fav is a yuppie pizza that isn’t big enough to feed a family. This is a traditional pizza that’s the best of that type that I’ve had since coming to Atlanta. So I’ll be back. It’s closer to my home and sometimes I want traditional pizza, sometimes I want yuppie pizza! As re the pizza mafia’s comments: I’ve eaten pizza at capozis before at the recommendation of my coworker and no…. I won’t be back there again (for the pizza mafia comments and their service isn’t that good either).
