A good deal for lunch. I often stop in for the lunch special: a small pork sandwich, a side, and a beverage for about 7 bucks. Everything is average, but it’s quick and cheap. The one time I tried the brisket, it was a little tough. There are a couple of sauces, and the staff is friendly.

What Happened?. We had not gotten any bbq from Sam’s in a while so last Friday evening we decided to treat ourselves. We walked in and placed a to go order for 6 sliced brisket sandwiches and potato salad. Could not wait to get home and dig in.Wow. What a disappointment. The brisket was extremely tough and under cooked. We had to get out a knife and fork to eat it open faced. My 85 year old mother-in-law could not eat it at all. Probably the worst ever $48.00 resturant tab.
Excellent Bar-B-Que. I read about this place and had to try it. I had a pulled pork sandwich that is one of my favorites in Atlanta. I can’t wait to go back for some ribs and their beef brisket. They might have the best quality meat around.I hear Roger Hurricane Wilson plays there a lot. Nothing like great bar-b-que and with some good ol’ blues and Roger has played with some of the best. Great music.I can’t wait to go back.
GRAY PORK. WTF?
Best Barbecue Around. My husband swears this is the Best Barbecue around, and we’ve eaten at a lot. Everything is great, and the sides, especially the macaroni and cheese, can’t be beat.
