Very slow service. The bar stayed open late when a bunch of flights out of Atlanta were canceled, since Delta sent a lot of of the displaced passengers to Hotel Indigo. Despite a bar staff of 2 and only about 5-8 customers most of the night, this was by far the slowest service I’ve seen. The taps didn’t seem to work so we switched to bottled beer, but it still took a lifetime to get our drinks. It also took 20 minutes for the bartender to run my credit card once he finally brought my tab (so I was stuck there until he remembered he still had my card). The food and drinks were fine, but the staff was far more interested in talking to each other than serving us.
The service was impeccable. They were the friendliest people and don’t even get me started with the food. The shrimp sandwich was literally the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The burgers were actually cooked how you wanted them. My overall experience was so great, I’ve really raised my standards after eating here. So thanks Blue Goose Bar & Kitchen (In a good way)!
