Ok people, the lemon pepper wings are authentically delicious! The music is consistently good. The live band on Sundays, prior to the dj is usually good… Drinks are strong (I’m not a drinker), food is good. The crowd is consistently abundant with an equal mix of males/females. The service is good, although they do need a larger wait staff due to slowness…ijs. I have never seen so many tall people in a club before unless pro ball players are in the club after a game..lol. I like the fact that GF’s truly caters to a mature crowd. My only complaints are: not enough reggae music mixed in, flatscreens should also be in small rooms, and desserts. Peace
Best Live Music in Town for the price!. I have been to Grown Folk’s several times from ~2002 to present. I enjoy the live music, Tabitha is magnificent. The people are very down to earth and just there to enjoy themselves. I like the laid back atmosphere…most places everyone is checking each other’s attire. If you want to be around people that are real Grown Folk’s is your spot.
