FANTASTIC FOOD. This place is a great find. Myself and my family would go every day if time permitted. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to find anything that is not FANTASTIC !! From the meat and two veggies to the the sandwiches and salads. We never get dessert because the lunch portions are huge and there is no room for dessert. The staff is very friendly. We especially love the server Ruby. The other local meat and veggie places near them better watch out because they mean business.

Lunch Review. They have a great roast beef. Sit away from the kitchen. That back room is a little warm. Especially if you are pregnant:)
Delicious, Friendly, Clean. You just can’t beat the vegetables at this family run place. The original owner is indeed back and no doubt the crowds will be too once word spreads! Highly recommend the Beer Braised Beef Brisket, the Blackened GrilledPork Chops, and for the true Southern: Chicken And Dumplings. Extensive menu includes sandwiches, grilled items, salads (the chicken salad is made from slow roasted chicken and is fab), and the meat and two for which they are known.
Returned ot original management!. Lunch on Main Street has returned to the original owner/management! Delicious food, quick and friendly service, a the restaurant has been extensively cleaned.I highly recommend it! It’s hard to find home cooked food like this.
Avoid. This was one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Everything was straight out of a can, and the catfish filets were prebreaded and frozen, like sysco brand. I couldn’t even finish my turnip greens they were so bad. The place is filthy, and their health score is an 81, with good reason. I only stopped here because I was in the area, but I would not go back again. The servers were nice but that doesn’t make up for the food.
