I honestly dont know how this place gets such good reviews. We really, really wanted to like it and have given them numerous chances over the years, as they are only a short distance from our house, but each visit proves to be a bigger disappointment than the last. In fact, if I could give them zero stars, I would. The only redeeming factor seems to be the friendly and talented singer/guitarist who regularly performs there.For starters, the parking lot outside is horrendous. The food is mediocre at best, the drinks tasted watered down at our last visit, and the service (or lack thereof) is a joke. They are often overbooked, and the atmosphere is always loud, raucous, and obnoxious. This establishment is clearly overrated and hardly what I would call upscale or romantic. Not to mention, they appear to have racist policies with regard to the groups they cater to. Our last experience there with a group of eight was nothing short of a nightmare. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
