Had a really bad experience here tonight. Food and service were OK but the manager was totally unfriendly and added an approximate 4% previously undisclosed fee on our bill for using a credit card, with no notice at all on the menu or in the restaurant. The restaurant prominently displays the credit card logos on its front door but doesn’t bother to warn patrons of this mark up. What restaurant charges a 4% mark up for using a credit card?! In the restaurant business it’s standard that this cost is part of their overhead. When I questioned the manager she refused to do anything about it. Probably some legal violation in charging this without notice, but she didn’t care. Very unprofessional and a general lack of good will. In agreeing to accept credit cards the merchant typically isn’t supposed to discriminate against customers who use credit cards by charging them a premium or fee. It’s a bad policy for a restaurant, but if this restaurant persists in this unfriendly behavior, it should, at a minimum post it on the menu and not surprise guests with a 4% unexpected fee at the last minute.

Very very good food, it’s hard to find better in covington actually. We love the ribs and the Cajun pasta. The lunch menu has 3 vegetarian options which is quite rare for this area. Lunch prices are really reasonable too. Support locally owned business and try rls!
