Great hidden gem in Newnan. Don’t let the Publix shopping center atmosphere stop you. The sushi is always fresh, presentation lovely, even on take out orders. The service is top notch. Tomo does get very busy especially during high school football season! A favorite of not only mine but also my 17 year old high school son and his friends. Makes me happy this is one of their favorite go to places versus a fast food place!

Wonderful Sushi. We have had sushi all over the world including Japan, Korea, China & many places in the Atlanta area. The sushi at Tomo’s in Newnan ranks right at the top, the best in the Atlanta area. Don’t expect a lavish decor but the food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The whole staff is outstanding & the sushi chef – Joe, topnotch! We enjoy a meal at Tomo’s weekly & it is consistently great. David & Debbie.
Freshest Sushi around, excellent hibachii and wonderful owner & staff!. I happened into this place following shopping at the nearby Publix. I had NO idea what a fabulous restaurant this is!! We absolutely love their food and their attention to detail. The place is constantly busy throughout the day (my son & I stop about once a week around 4 pm for a bit of Mom/ Son time.) and even then there is a regular flow of tables and carry-out. On the weekends, they are turning tables just as fast as they can! Take the time to visit this authentic sushi restaurant with authentically appreciative staff and owner. My husband even told me when I finally persuaded him to go with us, that at first he was skeptical. (It is a small location & not hard to miss.) Not even half-way through our meal, he told me that he had to admit that this is the best hibachi he has had in the Newnan area! We have been back several times since. Thank you, TOMO!
Great Place!. We have been going here for about 2 years now. we have never had an issue with food or the staff. great sushi in town hands down! try the Dragon rool, and the pepper tuna for an app. LOVE IT!
