Milton / Crabapple location – Best in Town. First of all, I wasn’t expecting much. There are so many bbq joints in north fulton that you could literally eat at one a day for a month. That being said, I was blown away. Had brisket, pulled pork, and the macaroni & cheese, hate to call it that because it is out of this world and much more like a warm desert.. The brisket was excellent. The pulled pork was on the leaner side, moist but not fat sloppy. Again, perfect. As far as not having a smoker as mentioned previously, the best smokers in use are implemented in this spot. The food had a delicious deep smoked flavor. Eat and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

Wow! What a home run! We decided to order take out two nights ago. Normally, I wouldn’t review take out except for a Chinese restaurant, because honestly most restaurants view take out as a lost cause. I am reviewing this experience because the food was fantastic! We ordered the pulled pork, the beef and the sausage. All were excellent with pork and sausage as the favourites. The sides were also good. I would also say the potato salad was the best I have had in the area. Enough flavour so you didn’t have to drown it in salt, firm potatoes and no egg. They also gave great customer service, packaging things carefully, correctly and thinking about enough sides and sauce for everyone. They even helped us out to the car! If take out is this good, inside will be even better!
I’ve had all items on the menu from both of their locations, primary from the Crabapple location. The pork ribs and beef spare ribs are the best I’ve ever had, including when I lived in North Carolina. The Mac and cheese is as rich as a dessert; phenomenal. The Brunswick stew is Also great, as it has chunks of rib meat in it. We eat out often, and this joint is top notch!
If you are looking for great bbq… this is the place. This is by far my favorite bbq in the Atlanta area! Do yourself a favor and try a slice from one of their fresh pies and order a side of mac & cheese with your meal. I could not have been more happy with my experiences at Grand Champion BBQ!
Holey $%(@! is this good :). Tried it today for the first time. Had a beef brisket plate with mac & chees and baked beans. Beef was fork tender and sides were very flavorful. Will come back often. Staff was very friendly.
