BEST BBQ I’ve ever had, hands down! Literally forever ruined. Everything on the menu is amazing – the ribs, pulled pork, brownies, mac and cheese – you can’t go wrong! If you’re in the area, stop by – you will not be disappointed!
Located in a small room attached to a gas station, Big D’s is a little slice of heaven. Long lines and a just a few tables. The BBQ was perfectly smoked and shredded. An abundance of sides joins the basic bbq choices. We had a little of everything between the of us. My favorite being the pork and all by itself is PERFECT! If you are heading into the North Georgia mountains or just visiting the outlets, stop in for a plate full of goodness!
Worth It….!!!!. My wife and I have started the tradition of coming to Berts pumpkin farm every year now starting from last year. We have passed this place a few times coming o the Mountains and we finally added this joint to our schedule. The line was out the door and we did get lucky with grabbing a table outside right when we walked in so that really helped but the food was really good! The service was great! Living 10 min from downtown Atlanta we have a few wonderful bar-b-q spots that we normally hit but we can now gladly add this spot to our list. I must admit, I had not eaten all day and was really hungry by 3pm but I was able to put down a jumbo pork sandwich AND a jumbo brisket sandwich! I was ready to lay down when we left needless to say but it was exactly what we were looking for that day. I do not normally go for hush puppies but they have these little hush balls with corn in them that were amazing! Even the sweet tea was perfect! My wife enjoyed the plate but said after seeing my sandwich, that would be the route she would take next time. If you go during the weekend remember to be patient, breathe and expect a wait. I mean… that speaks for the place right? I watched people getting mad because there was a line? Any way, I would recommend this place to my friends and we WILL be back! Thanks Big D’s for your North country hospitality!
Awesome customer service. I’ve been in four times and everytime customer service was awesome and the food was great!!!! My fav is the perfectly cooked bbq wings!!
Good barbeque. Overall the taste of everything we ordered was very good. The only thing I have to complain about is that the barbecue was not hot. It was pretty close to cold actually. We got there at 12pm at the beginning of their lunch crowd so it doesn’t seem like there would be any excuse for the food to be so cold. Girl at the counter was very friendly but the guy who gave you the food was not. He forgot one of our sides and acted like it was a big inconvenience to get it for us. I would still recommend going again because the food did taste very good and hopefully this isn’t the usual experience.
Not impressed. I saw the good reviews and gave it a try. Could have just been a bad day for them but nothing we got was better than Ok.
