Great Great Great!. I ate at Gasthuas many, many years ago and though it was ok but did not like it well enough to return — I thought that maybe I did not care that much for German food.I went there tonight and both my wife and I thought it was great. The staff went out of their way to give us an enjoyable experience..We will return soon.
Fantastic. The food was fantastic. Atmosphere is intimate which can be good and bad. Good for ambiance but bad if your neighbors complain about a meal that you happen to be enjoying. Our server Renita was friendly and efficient. The menu offers American and German cuisine. Also many delicious desserts. Highly recommend the Gluwein during cold weather.
After living in Germany for years, it’s hard to find great German food. We’ve come here about 4 times now, and the food is hit or miss. Service is great, love the atmosphere but depending on the night…food can be excellent to blah. I’m always wanting to go back in and give it another try, but I wish the food was a little more consistent.
Great German Food. The food is amazing authentic German food. The ambience inside feels like an old house (Don’t Like it) but like sitting outsize in the beer garden. Highly Recommended

Whoa. I have to admit I drove by this place many times and never thought about going in. Finally it happened! I have to say this was the best lunch I have had! From the friendly waitress to food to the beer I have only have good things to say. If you have never eaten here it is a must!!!!
Having worked there, I know how the food is made. I go here for dinner parties and I bring my parents too. Amazing owners and a great German clientele.
