Amazing bbq, and super cheap! They just recently got a sign with the name of the restaurant. They didn’t need one for 30 years. Everyone in paulding knows this is the best bbq around.
The Best BBQ in Paulding County. Still love this place, after all of these years , things all around have changed, Yet this place still remains the same, the best BBQ & Stew, Sweet Tea & Homemade Pies, even Chili Cheese Burgers, & Chili Dogs, Great Service. If you have too wait , it won’t be long, & the BBQ is worth it. If you haven’t been, Then you should Go!!!( WOW -I think it was Started 1965 )
If you love good bar b q then I highly recommend this place. If you’re looking for a friendly face to serve you then drive on by… Staff not very warm and fuzzy 2x in a row. Could use a lesson on smiles and thank you’s.
Don’t judge a hut by it’s cover. My family of 8 was down for Christmas. We saw the 100% rating and decided to give it a try after our Hiram shopping. The outside is not much to look at but it’s been around, family owned, since 1965. They have wooden booths and some barstools inside. There are also picnic benches under a covering outside. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The bbq plate with Brunswick stew, which resembles chili, is your best bet for a first visit. The sauce is so hands-down incredible you may find yourself asking for more. For those with a sweet tooth the fried peach pie is phenomonal. To sum up this is a must-try eatery. Simple food, big portions, great prices, and friendly faces.
Great little hometown business. Their location is not much to look at but the food is what has kept it in business for decades.
Better than Varsity. The chili dogs are better than the Varsity….that’s right, i said it.
