So-so. The only good thing about this restaurant is the mongonlian grill. You fix your plate how you want it, let the cook know what sauce you want then pick it up when you hear the bell ding. The food off the grill is delicious. The buffet leaves a lot to be desired.
Chef Lin, Chef Lin…. I have eaten here more than once and I thought a review was added at some point. Nonetheless, here goes. This is not as good as the one in Chattanooga. Chinese buffets are fast falling from favor with me and this one is typical. You can get a lot for a little money, but you cannot eat at any of them regularly. Why don’t they add/rotate items. And I would just assume they leave crab legs off if they do not want to refill them. Maybe a one plate option upon request or just have them as a buffet add on item? I noticed a chinese buffet in South Pittsburg TN that does this, you can add on a pound and a half for $5.00 the last time I was there…I think this is best left for a lunch option when one is not going to risk overindulgence and the price makes more sense, at least to me. No crab leg upcharge is pretty much the only difference I have observed.
Hubs and I went in and asked for the buffet to go. They gave us each a Styrofoam, divided, take home box. When I asked for soup they gave a Styrofoam bowl. You can barely get any food in there. Then they charged us about $25 WITHOUT drinks! What a rip off! They need to be charging by weight or something. Because of that experience we have never gone back and never will. Much rather eat at Panda Express!!!
Previously was a great place to eat but after getting a plate to go the other day I was told I had to much shrimp and to much ketchup so I was charged 13 dollars for 1 to go plate no drink no nothing and they didn’t tell me about the xtra charges till they already charged my card I will never go back07 Dec, 2010There’s a reason its voted best chinese in dalton 2 yrs running its great
