Myfriends & Icome here a couple times a month, However we will NO longer come here, wewere eating herethis past weekend,when myfriendrecognized aWaitress that had robbed his uncles store, several years back, we pulled her name up from some courtdocuments his uncle has, itlooks like she was released from prison on these charges last year. along with10 forgery and4 other burglary charges. As much as we love this place on a Friday & Saturday night, we are concerned that she handles peoples Credit cards.BEWARE if you eat here use cash, Because you never know who is handling your credit card. Business’s that allow the workers to handle customers credit cards should do criminal background checks. Don’t waste your time. The food is not very good and the service is horrible. I know it is a Mexican resturant but shouldn’t some of the people sPeak a little English. This is my second time there and it will be my last. I left my food on the table after just trying one bite paid my bill and left a tip. Food So bad not worth discussing with management! Not mad just not going back.
Would highly recommend you give it a try (or another chance)……. Read some negative reviews so was a little hesitant to try but was very impressed! Starting with the warm, fresh chips and the flavorful salsa. Appetizer of fresh-made guacamole did not disappoint. Then the owner came to the table and gave personal recommendations for the main course. Sorry, don’t remember the names of the dishes but the food came quick (especially for a Friday night) and it was hot and very flavorful. Service was friendly and attentive. We plan to go back soon!
Great food, terrible service.. I have been here many times, and they have great food, but their service is horrendous. I have been sitting here for 10 minutes and just finally got my drink ordered.
Complete train wreck!!. I had family come in from out of state and they wanted mexican for dinner. We hadn’t tried this one yet so figured it was the perfect opportunity. We call ahead and make reservations…… When we arrive they have nothing ready for us. So as we wait we see large fluorescent signs saying that if we have questions or complaints call a number. So I figure, after reading the 2.5 star review here, they are fixing the problem…. not the case. After finally being seated and getting drinks, we order cheese dips and I specifically ask the waiter for a side of rice to come out with the cheese for my one year old daughter who is fussy and hungry. We then wait forever for our server to appear again, just to have him ask how things r going…… we once again mention cheese dips and a side of rice. The bus boy comes by a while later to fill up our drinks and still no server, cheese, or rice. Finally a different server brings the cheese dip and nothing else. When we finally see our original server he asks for our orders. We go around and once again I mention that I need the side of rice as soon as possible……… and he dissappears AGAIN!! When he finally comes around to ask how we r doing and get more refills I mention the rice again. He apologizes and then asks a few friendly questions to my traveling family about where they r from and the reason for their visit. (Which was my daughter’s birthday) He leaves and vanishes once more. At this point there have been about 4 smaller parties come in, eat, chat, pay, and leave and we haven’t even gotten my daughter’s rice much less everyone else’s food. So now the food finally comes out and they r missing two of my family members entrees and my daughter’s rice. We let them know and poof he vanishes again. To the point where we finally see him across the room and catch his attention to let him know not to worry about the entrees because we have already shared our food with them and everyone is pretty much done now. A few minutes later the manager comes up to the table with the missing entrees and says they r free and sorry for the inconvenience, still no side of rice by the way, and to beat it all he sits one down and there is a 10 inch big black hair right in the middle, which my wife gasps and the manager apologizes for that as well and then asks if we would like to box it up to take with us. We kindly say no just the check. I pay with a card as do most with such a large check and , though small in comparison to the rest, the server drops the receipts off and proceeds to have the exact same conversation, down to the same questions about where my family is from and why they are here, then instantly disappears leaving no pen and none of us happen to have one. So we wait a bit and end up having to go to the bar and ask the bar tender for one. From beginning to end this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a restaurant, and I do not plan on going back.
Excellant Food. I have been eating there ever since the first week they opened up. I have had great service the food as always been very good and I feel that you get more food than a person needs. The first week they were open they were so busy for lunch and dinner there was always a wait to get a table. I just hope they stay very busy and successful. it is good to get a nice restaurant in town. There really is not that many place to go here except for the chain restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
Really like it. Huge margaritas, light chips, good salsa, tender steak! What’s not to love!
