Five Guys is a very popular chain. Why? Two burgers, one frie, two drinks…..$20. All this on a single tray…..nope. In a paper sack! What’s that? I fetch my own condiments and drink…..just like in any fast-food chain. But this burger is better than your run-of-the-mill fast food burger, right? Wrong! The ingredients are fresh, right? Wrong! The mushrooms are from a can! The atmosphere is cooL, right? Maybe, if you’re a teenager with no where else to go! The service is great, right? What service? Five Guys is the most overrated fast-food joint around, AND that is a fact!!! I have to give them credit. They do less work, have very little money in their product, have convinced their customers to pay more for nothing more than what everyone else offers, and somehow get many to return for more. Not I, says Gula1.

Nothing special about five guys to me. Yes you can get it the way you want it but the burger is not that great. Threes no distinct taste to it. Burger king flames broils their meat and the taste comes through. Five guys is nothing special, other than you get a ridiculous amount of fries. They take pride in saying peanut oil is healthier, but not when half the bag is full of fries. I know we don’t have to eat it all but fries in general are not healthy. As far as price it’s a bit on the expensive side for a small burger fries and a drink. For that money you should try Big Willies(???) it’s next to the green spot. He has the best burgers in town.
It’s good food but terribly expensive
Today I offer a review…. Of Five Guys in Dalton. I still prefer the one in Chattanooga, but the service there is what puts that one over the top. They went above and beyond, check out that review if you have the time. Back to Dalton, food is good, today I got the cheese burger with everything minus grilled onions, adding diced onions and jalapenos. I like how the peppers are fresh cut, not a packaged product. My wife had a grilled cheese and added grilled mushrooms (a little odd ?) and we split a regular order of fries. It is ridiculous the amount of fries they give you, enough for four people. We took the bag home and when the kids showed up, they devoured them ! Food is good Five Guys quality here and the restaurant is clean. I just don’t have a remarkable story about the service here yet, but no problems were encountered whatsoever.
Great Restuarant. I love Five Guys. They have wonderful burgers that you can get anyway you want them. They have so many things to chose from for your hamburger. Any type of sauce you could want, ketchup, mustard, mayo, bbq, A-1, Heinz 57 etc. Not to mention all the different types of cheeses. So if you like your burger plain or loaded this is the place for you.Their fries are wonderful and they give you so much. One small order can feed four adults easy. They are cooked in peanut oil and taste wonderful. This is a great place to get an old fashioned hamburger and the atmosphere is wonderful.
Awesome Burgers. Hamburgers don’t get any better than this. You get a lot for the money. A regular fry is enough to feed four people.
