Rude waitress and manager on duty. There was a new waitress there who didn’t explain the deals well to us. My boyfriend and I had asked about drink specials to go with our tacos and she said it was 6.75 then after we ate and drank she said it was only with a purchase of a meal of $9 or more dollars and two specials can’t be on one ticket anyway and they did nothing to alter the check when the waitress was in fault.

Dee-LISH. Margaritas: I had a regular lime margarita. It was everything I expect from a margarita!Chips & Salsa: The tortilla chips are very thin and were freshly made. The salsa is a thinner salsa that is probably a 7 out of 10 on the spicy scale. The salsa is also made with fresh cilantro and onions. Lots of fresh flavor.Dips: We had a large group and ordered several of them. All of the cheese dips were very flavorful and large portions. One is easily enough for 4 people with some left over to accompany your entree.Entree: 3 of us tried the Eduardo, which is sauteed chopped vegetables (onion, squash, zucchini, carrots) served on a bed of rice and topped with just the right amount of cheese. Eduardo comes with your choice of grilled steak, chicken or shrimp and we each chose a different one. We all 3 LOVED this dish. I chose steak but next time would choose shrimp. The steak was a little tough for my taste, but was still good. I have had several other entrees at this restaurant and they have all been excellent. Great find.

I like their Salsa. The chairs are cool looking but VERY uncomfortable so next time I go I’ll have to try a booth or takeout.

Steak Monterray. Ribeye Steak covered with cheese. Delicious!!!!06 Oct, 2011Pollo Margarita’s. This is a great entree, especially if you like chorizo. It is a chicken breast topped with shrimp, chorizo, and cheese sauce. Very Good!06 Oct, 2011Chimichangas. I’ve had chicken and beef chimichangas here, and they’re good. Not the best I’ve had, but still good.06 Oct, 2011Edurados. This is a very tasty entree. Your choice of shrimp, chicken, or steak cooked with peppers, squash, zucchini, onions and carrots on a bed of rice topped with cheese. It’s great and very filling. Regular price is $8.99, but I have found it on their daily special several times for $6.99. Give it a try.08 Aug, 2011Camarones Borracho – el fantastico. Saturday I enjoyed the Camarones Borracho, which was shrimp and bacon covered in cheese with some tortillas. Fantastic. Of course, this comes with beans, rice, chips, & salsa. It’s on the lunch menu for $6.99. Go give it a try.17 May, 2011Good Food.. I’ve eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed the food itself. The decor is bright and festive. Service is usually good unless they’re really busy. I do wish they would leave the tvs off and just rely on Mexican music to entertain the customers. The chips and salsa were perfect during my last visit, which seems to be very important to me personally. If you order any dishes with the chorizo, you might consider having them serve it on the side rather than poured over your entree. It has a strong flavor that might overpower the taste of your shrimp, chicken, or steak. I like to sprinkle it lightly over my food, just to give each bite a love-tap. A mouthful is more like a drop-kick.
