Great atmosphere but not the best cook…. I voted I like this place… but I have issues… first of all the atmosphere is very elegent and spotless…. the uniforms are terrific… the guacamole made at the table is good too…. and above all if you go on sunday evening and get the live Mariachi band play at your table… ur going to be happy…. but if you go for excellent mexican food… ur probably going to be disappointed…. the plate presentation is always nice… but its all bland… has no pazzazz… and ur paying top dollar…. they should invest in a new chef that has sazon… also they should have sweet vermouth for guys like me that like a sweet manhattan cocktail… dry vermouth does not cut it. I wish them continued success…. but please tweek the kitchen and bar.

Reasonable quality for the price, they have some real problems with service! Sometimes service is OK, sometimes it’s AWFUL! At my last visit, we ordered fajitas, and they came sizzling to the table….without tortilla shells, plates, or the sour cream, guacamole, etc.. Fully ten minutes passed before the accessories came, and the fajitas were lukewarm before we got to eat them. When a manager (owner?) came along, she made excuses, said the policy was to bring the fajitas hot and fresh, didn’t really seem to understand getting them on the table just to have to watch them congeal isn’t really the best plan… While the chips and salsa is great, they take away the basket with the broken chips and add fresh chips before returning the basket. After a couple of cycles you get 3/4 of a basket of broken crumbs with a thin layer of fresh chips on top.

Way Below Average. Gave Las Palms a try and did not find any reason to return. First the service was unfriendly and very slow. The food was not up to the Mexican standard I am used to. I’ll give them credit for having a clean resturant but that is all. With all the Mexican options in Dalton I will not return here for below average food and bad service.

I love this resturant! It’s definitely one of the better options in Dalton!

BASIC AND UNIMAGINATIVE. Have visited a few times to give this new Mexican Restaurant a chance but have found the food basic and without much flavor. Salsa was not even average and chips just so so. The service was slow and very unfriendly. I was not impressed on my first visit and the 2nd and 3rd trips did not change my impression nor did the food or service improve. I’ll give them credit for having a clean restaurant but when it comes to the food there are much better Mexican restaurants in the area.
