Good breakfast bar…. Took the family for sunday breakfast… was pretty full at least 80% and hard to get a parking spot… seems to be doing better since the one on cleveland ave closed…. we had a good time and the kids liked the french toast and fruit buffet… I had the eggs, biscuits, and gravy along with some sausage. coffee was ok and overall better than the last time we visited… hope they keep up the good work.
Poor Service and Dirty Restaurant. Shoney’s is Shoney’s you know what’s there before you go. But this Restaurant is NOT CLEAN. From time to time we like to visit Shoney’s but will not return to this location. The one in the Hamilton Place area is the best one around.
Filler Food. Shoney’s buffet…….well, it serves it’s purpose. Unfortunately, it has become a quantity over quality type of situation. The menu entrees are mediocre at best. I’m not saying I don’t sometimes end up at a Shoney’s but I try to stay away, but sometimes the company you’re with wants to eat here, so what do you do? I believe the establishment is trying to revamp itself, will it be successful? I’d rather eat at a locally owned restaurant.
