Torta with Milanesa. I finally tried a torta from this restaurant today. It will not be the last time! Very very good with fresh ingredients.05 Sep, 20112nd Visit…. I have now tried the chicken and steak tacos… I also got another barbacoa taco today. The barbacoa was just like last time, very tender and tasty… perfect with onion and cilantro. My next choice in terms of appreciation would be the asada taco… and lastly the pollo. The last two were just okay, not as tasty as the barbacoa or the chorizo or al pastor from the last visit. I will have to say I got some chiles toreadoes. MUY CALIENTE ! These were red jalapenos that were at the peak of hot and flavorful too! Some of the hottest and best chiles toreadoes I have ever had, anywhere. Washed it all down with a mexican coke, with lime juice added, compliments of the extra limes that they gave me with the tacos today. No salsa this time…Next time will be the milaneza and maybe a tostada or two. You can only get fish or shrimp on a tostada.27 Aug, 2011A real pleasure to find…. OK, I got three different tacos today. All were very good. Truly delicious. I tried the chorizo, al pastor and barbacoa. I got a mexican bottled coke too. Hey, a lot of folks don’t realize that real sugar is used in mexican cokes, not that corn syrup crap. All of my tacos were delicious ! Be adventurous and give this little place a try. I don’t think you will regret it. I know I have to come back someday and get a milaneza plate… you just will not find it in most mainstream mexican restaurants. They keep the good stuff hidden from the general public. Can’t say I blame them for that…just goes to show you, there is some shrewd thinking going on, and I like it !!! I like this taco shack too… I will be back sooner than you think…
