You Must Try It !. Have been here for lunch at least a dozen times and the food is consistently delicious. Best egg rolls around. The owner told me that they always make their egg rolls from scratch as well as their entrees. Very good hot and sour soup also. The restaurant is always very clean and service excellent. I have never tried any of their Hibachi meals (can’t get away from the Chinese dishes) but I’m sure I would not be disappointed. Teriyaki Bistro is a favorite of mine and I hope they are very successful with their business.

My New Favorite!!!. I had been scared to even go into this restaurant until it was obvious that it had been completely remodeled and under new management. I was pleased to find their health score a whopping 99, which is rare to find at ANY restaurant in Dalton. The service was friendly and prompt, and the plate presentation was pretty classy. The ambiance was definitely on par with the title of Bistro. The food will speak for itself. I always judge a Chinese restaurant by the quality of their Hot & Sour soup, and this place serves a mean bowl of it. It had just the right balance and texture. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken, and my husband was sneaking food off my plate, besides eating his own. My children were so happy that they could finally go out to eat Chinese again. We had been driving to Chattanooga once a month for the last year because the health scores here have been dangerously low.I’ve eaten here twice now, and was well pleased both times with the flavor, quality, atmosphere, and prices. In fact, I let my kids order from the adult menu and take the rest home for later. They get the highest possible rating from me! I hope they keep up the good work. Oh, and you must try the YumYum sauce! Its wonderful on egg rolls and rice.

This location has been an oriental style establishment for a long time, at least twenty years(China Chef, New China). They had closed down, changed owners and have reopened the building as Teriyaki Bistro. I had vowed not to enter this building again years ago, so I was surprised to find myself chancing it with a party of six for Sunday lunch. Happily, I was pleasantly surprised. Rather than describe informally, I’ve decided to give a full Gula report:Atmosphere: They have really changed the face of this establishment, which I think was inevitable considering the age and condition. It looks nice. Color scheme and lighting were perfect. They’ve did a lot of work and it has paid off. New floor, new paint, new sinks in rest rooms. I will award them four forks!!!!Cleanliness: The place is very clean. I saw no issues. Workers stayed on top of it, sweeping as customers left. I hope it stays this way. Four forks!!!!Service: They appear to be well-staffed. We had several come by and refill drinks. Our primary server was very informative. They were quick to serve serve. I was pleased. Four forks!!!!Quality of Food: I sampled General Tso’s, Mongolian Chicken and Sesame Chicken and must say that this may be the best tasting Chinese food in Dalton as of right now. The egg rolls were good, egg drop soup with fried noodles was tasty. The fried rice was a little bland, but I won’t be too hard on them for this. Four forks!!!!Value of Food: For the quality and presentation of the food, I thought the prices were well above average. We were there for lunch, so we got those prices. For example, most plates were around $5.00 and this included the entree, soup, rice, and an egg roll. I will give them four forks!!!!Final Score: A solid FOUR FORKS ! ! ! ! Very Good. Go give it a try.
