Do not eat here. It’s not often I write a review as plain stated. I’ve tried to eat here three times and I’ll never return.1st Time – Major language barrier. Waitress did not speak English and just served me what she thought I might like. It wasn’t what I ordered and it took over 30 minutes to correct my plate. (Because she had no idea what I really wanted and had to bring someone else to the table to assist.)2nd Time – Order incorrect once again! At least the correct order was brought to me fairly quickly.3rd Time – I was served ROTTEN chicken on the Big Taco. The chicken was gray and rubbery and smelled awful. Even though I only had a few bites before I realized what was wrong, I still spent the rest of my day sick. (I went for lunch.) Not only that, when it finally posted to my account a few days later, I was charged nearly $15. (The receipt I signed was for only $9.)Nope. Never again.

This place has been open for about three months. It is located in a strip mall on Walnut Ave. I finally had an opportunity to stop in the other day. The atmosphere is ideal for a Mexican restaurant. Lots of decor that helps set the mood. The restaurant is comfortable. Health score was 92 and everything appeared to be clean…no issues that I could find. Service was above average, though a little slower with a large party. Quality of food was very good. The Al Pastor has a wonderful flavor. Fajitas were great. Steak was tasty. The initial complementary salsa is a little bland. Upon request they will bring out a sample of their other salsas. The Avocado puree is delicious! I ate this with my Mojarra Frita, which was cooked to perfection. Value of food is very reasonable. The menu is very impressive. I am looking forward to returning.
