A great place, take out only except for a couple of outdoor picnic tables. A steady stream of upscale cars through the drive through window. I had a shrimp poboy, my daughter got a cheeseburger and fries. $24, good food and huge portions. I’ll go back…
Another picture just. Just one more18 Apr, 2015Where is the love button??. We drove down to Dalton to try what I been hearing about. I didn’t expect a little shack. But OMG the smell…. Amazing. People were sitting and driving in and out. The food is AMAZING!!!! The owner has a awesome sense of humor and likes talking with his guest and introducing his homeless kitty. She looked pretty well fed. This place is worth a 3 hour drive for. If you love catfish, cheeseburgers, or hotdogs…. RUN HERE!!!
Love, love, love. This has become a regular for my husband and I, love the crew, and the food is to die for. Best BBQ, fish, sandwich and burger I’ve ever put in my mouth and king size portions. Don’t be discouraged by the few bad reviews. I’m very picky and this place is amazing, try to get by as often as I can.
Not all that. Went there Tues night after reading reviews could not wait to try it me and my son a d his girlfriend all got hamburger and fries 38 buck for 3 buger and fries. That where grease and yes they where big but just dripping with Greece. And had o real flavor. Soory but it be along time b4 I go back to willies
The Best Shacks are the Shady Ones. Don’t let the look of the place fool you, this little American Dine in is definitely good eats for the money. You won’t leave here hungry and you’ll enjoy the food too. I dropped in today while I was visiting my Dad in Dalton. This little eatery is very straightforward with some amusing titles for their food, but getting the BBQ and the Fish I can tell you that at the price for the amount of food you get it’s superb. The Fish Dinner is /massive/ for only around 10$ with probably enough food to feed two people easily, and even the small BBQ pork Sandwhich at only 4.50$ is a massive and very tasty bargain. My own experience was pretty quick in and out, not much longer then 5 minutes, though I came a bit late in the afternoon I imagine this place could get pretty busy during the lunch time rush. But if you are ever craving any kind of Classic Americana I would definitely suggest checking this place out. The ingredients are superb and the food is tasty without feeling like standard fodder. It’s that food you know someone has put some time and love into. More then that the sides (Frys, slaw, etc) come in plentiful amounts

It’ll be a while. Waited in the drive thru for approximately 20 minutes with exactly 3 cars in front of me. At the time, I watched exactly 3 people pull up, walk up, order their food, and leave. When I did get to the front, I was informed that they’d be out of pork for a WEEK. SMH My boyfriend and I have come here almost every weekend and I have recommended the place to nearly everyone in my graduate program. However, it’ll be a LONG time before I visit here again. My time was completely wasted.
