Bambinelli’s is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to! Everything on the menu that I’ve tried was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Bambinelli’s is a definite favorite! Hadn’t been in a while. Had the sausage & peppers with provolone sub. Was delicious as always, the bread is wonderful & the bread pudding is excellent! The location is good, the decor is great & the restaurant is clean. The staff are knowledgeable & courteous & the prices are very reasonable. Their spaghetti & lasagna are good, I’ll have to try their NY pizza.
The Best in Georgia. I lived in Sicily for over 7 years and the dishes are truly homemade. The dishes are large just like Italian’s normal size. In addition, the prices are just right.
Well worth a try – good Italian American fare. Yes, it’s true. Atlanta is a virtual desert when it comes to Italian food. I’ve lived in and worked in many cities, but none as parched as this place when it comes to good Italian or Italian-American food. Bambinelli’s is one of the few exceptions – good, hearty Italian-American dishes that are reliably good at both locations. My co-workers and I frequently go to the Northlake location where the food and service are consistently good. We like it so much that my wife and I will go there when possible from our home some 40 miles away, and my teenagers love it too, which is rare that we find a place we all like. All of the pasta dishes we’ve tried, most of the menu by now, are good. The pizza is also great – crisp crust with good ingredients. I put emphasis on the Northlake location because I also go to the Lawrenceville location since it is so much closer to home —- BUT, and it’s a big BUT, while the food at the Lawrenceville location is just as good, the service lags quite a bit at that location – this is not a one time observation, but many times at both lunch and dinner. The food is still good – so much so we’ve had events catered from the Lawrenceville location, but as far as service and atmosphere go they pale in comparison to Northlake, where Bonnie Bambinelli, the owner, seems to be always present and watching.
Great food and service. Has a great family atmosphere. You have to try the cheese cake.
Ate here for the first time tonight, food was great! I ordered the cheese ravioli and it was delicious and extra cheesy! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The restaurant seemed fairly busy and a lot of people were coming in to pick up to go orders. I will also add that the garlic rolls were top notch, I will definitely be coming back!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!. My wife and I went to Bambinelli’s off of Lawrenceville Highway and Beaver Ruin Rd. The customer service was horrible from the beginning. We waited 10 minutes to be seated although there were 2 servers/ waiters in the bar area gossiping and acknowledged us standing there. I thought maybe someone else was supposed to be seating us when one of the gossiping servers comes over and says that she was sorry for the delay and did not know that we wanted to be seated. She then sat us at our table and walked away without saying a word. We waited 10 more minutes and still no one came to offer us drinks or take our orders. The server that sat us then came over to a table across from ours and started talking to the patrons that were there about basketball or something. She never bothered to ask us if we needed or wanted anything. After 5 more minutes of no service we finally decided to leave. The restaurant was less than a quarter full and the irony to the situation was the same server that was supposed to be helping us bid us farewell and hoped that we would return soon. Bambinell’s has just been added to the list of things in Atlanta that should be discarded (e.g., traffic, APS) and never mentioned of again.
