Paid $10 and some change for one plate with no drink to get COLD rice and dry chicken with the most flavorless white rice I’ve encountered. The yams were pretty good, I can’t lie, but who wants to pay $10 to only eat sweet potatoes?

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT. I went to Mudeas Soul food, and I was VERY impressed. The food was fresh and hot. The Mac & Cheese was the bomb. I eat there at least twice a week. The people there are really nice and have great customer service. I would reccomend Mudeas to Everyone.
The first time I went, the wings were fresh and hot. The second and third time they looked refried and old. Not OSHA standards. Not going back. Needs a referral to Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible!!! Nasty!!!
Customer service/ F-very bad. I went to Mudeas they have no type of order i was standing there for 10 min this guy that worked there was sitting there looking at us he finally ask us have we been waited on we said no he ask the woman that had just walked in what would she like i said to him sir i was next he ignored me as keep taking the lady order i walked out went to my car and i said to myself i cant let this go he was very rude so i went back in to get the phone number and called back and reported him but i will also call to talk to the owner
Food was nasty. I was told about Mudea’s from classmates so my husband and I decided to check it out. We got there and looked at the selection and it looked great so I was really excited about tasting the food. My husband loves food and will eat anything that is not nailed down and NEVER LEAVE FOOD ON HIS PLATE so he too could not wait to sink his teeth into this delicious looking food. I got the ox tails, lina beans and candied yams. Hubby tried the smothered pork chop, squash casserole and rice.We sat down and began to eat. IT WAS HORRIBLE! The lima beans were bland, no seasoning, the ox tails were undercooked and tough to chew and the candied yams were not as delightful as I had expected. I’ve cooked better in my crock pot! Hubby pork chop was good but the squash casserole was full of onions and no squash and rice was overrun by all the gravy on the chops. As I said, I have never seen my hubby not finish his food. WE we sooo disappointed! My food taste better than this restaurant and I have never said that I am a soul food cook. Needless to say, WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! Busy Bee, here we come!!!
3 strikes and mudea’s is out!. I thought mudea’s was really really bad. The food is horrible. Its very close to my house so i’ve been more than once to just give it another shot. I have never enjoyed the food and i will never go again. Its unfortunate for me. I guess i will have to drive to hodges on candler rd or Johns fine food on jonesboro rd. Now Johns is really good, its just out of my way.
