This is real deal Malaysian food. Not for someone who needs americanized version, this not for someone who cannot eat meat with bones). Come here for delicious food, you won’t be disappointed.
Outstanding Malaysian food. We dined with a friend from Singapore and he reiterated the quality – like someones mom prepared us a home cooked meal.
A most pleasant, authentic, and enjoyable Malaysian eatery. They advertise themselves as Malaysian street food crafted with love, a pretty accurate statement indeed. Four of us went to Mamak for a Saturday lunch. We ordered five of their title dishes: Roti Canai, Chow Kway Teow, Curry Laksa, Hainanese Chicken, and Fish Head Mee Fun. The Hainan chicken is sweet, tender, and very flavorful. The Chow Kway Teow is expertly seared to impart the all-important wok flavor. All of the dishes were tasty, authentic, and expertly done. In fact, they are of a quality that is comparable to that expected in a food court in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. The prices are also very reasonable. Service is efficient and pleasant. We will be back soon to explore the rest of their rather extensive repertoire.
