Worse place to eat. Service is bad and food is cold, I ask my server for refil she never came back with my coke, I went to the back to ask for my drink and all the server were taking pictures in the kitchen and dancing??? WTH!! I ask for the manager and he was in the group what a joke of place honestly I don’t recommend this place to anyone it used to be way better
Poor food, poor service. Service was slow. I don’t think our server ever smiled…but then again we didn’t see a lot of her. I ordered the fajita chicken salad. Got a shell with some bean paste in the bottom, shredded lettuce, a little cheese, chicken, sour cream and 1/2 of a thick slice of tomato.
Been eating here since opened. Food is still decent but service ha steadily declined. A very long wait for our meal, and the place was half empty, and when the meal finally came, no meal for Dad. I cancelled my meal while everyone else ate. No apology from anyone. Longer drive, but going to La Parrilla from now on. A real shame as La Cocina is so close

We ate here for the first time today. Impression so far: food – fresh and well prepared, but over priced. No inexpensive options on the menu – cheapest item was burrito at $6.50, everything else was $9-$15. Atmosphere – fresh paint, decent decor but our table and menus should have been cleaner, especially for the price. Service – friendly and attentive but not very knowledgable of the sauces or ingredients on specials. These kids know zero about what’s happening in the kitchen. Main reason I like it is because the food came out hot and fresh, the chips were thin, hot and homemade, salsa is great and the location is close. Plus I cannot stand the slop at Hildalgos. I just miss the days of inexpensive Tex-Mex.
While the food is ok, typical Mexican, I felt it was overpriced. Especially if you want a kids meal with something other than a soft drink. We ordered our kids milk and were charged an extra $2.19 each for small milks.
My wife and I ate there while traveling. We each orded steak fajitas and a soda. They brought out the fajitas and still had not brought out our drinks. When I asked the waitress repiled they weren’t ready yet. Our sodas didn’t arrive until after we finshed our first steak fajita. The vegetables were burned and the steak was so over cooked, it reminded of eating beef jerky. It tasted like jery also. If we hadn’t been so tired we would have sent thr whole thing back.
