The food was very good. When we first pulled up it seemed tiny ,and it is quite small, but they got people moving in and out fast. That is really impressive since they only had one waitress working! But I also had no where to go and was just fine with sitting and waiting. So all in all if you’re patient it’s definitely worth the wait. I recommend the Pollo Fundido:)
Thanks for the 2nd location…This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Duluth…and very reasonably priced too. Two very small negatives: the salsa is too spicy and they don’t automatically give you tortillachips with a To Go order. But I can live with that.
This is without a doubt the best taco joint I’ve ever experienced… ANYWHERE! I’ve had ’em all over the world and belive it or not, here in little ole Duluth, this place rocks the house with authentic Mexican tacos. Just incredible. The Tripe taco & the language taco are my favorites! Amazing!
I expected this to be a little to-go place, but they have booths and tables. Had to check it out after passing by so many times. Had the Super Fajita Nachos, which had chicken, beef and shrimp, along with beans, peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese dip over fresh chips. The beef was a little too chewy for me but overall it was a delicious meal for $9. Looking forward to a return visit.
Great Food & Fun Atmosphere. I love coming to El Dorado Taqueria when I’m craving some authentic Mexican food! Their prices are all very affordable, and they even have molcajetes served in a volcanic bowl which I really like too! Their tacos, burritos, enchiladas & other offerings are great too! Also, they give you free chips and salsa & it’s pretty delicious! What I love about El Dorado is their colorful interior, with bright colors and murals adorning the walls too. Also, the staff is great and will try their best to engage in some friendly conversation with you too, definitely come by if you’ve never been! bellavivere.blogspot.com
Superb. Can’t say enough about this place. While it’s very small the food is excellent and it’s insanely cheap. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. The place is always clean and well-kept. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine that is light on the wallet then look no further than El Dorado.
My significant other and I live very close to this restaurant and frequent it often. It’s a small place with fun decor and we are glad we found it. The food is awesome. It’s fresh and tasty. The menu is what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant with an authentic flare. I haven’t had anything that I haven’t loved. You can’t beat the price either and we often leave feeling like they honestly should charge more. We usually get the same server and she even remembers us and our drink orders as soon as we walk on the door. If you live nearby or even of you don’t it’s worth it to check this place out.
