Authentic Polish (Central/Eastern European) Cuisine in Atlanta. New Polish Restaurant is actually on my way to work (work in Alpharetta). It was open for a few months and this is the *first* time im ashamed to admit I’ve actually noticed it when driving home (Norcross) few days ago. All it took for me is to just look to my left haha.I know only one other place besides New Polish Restaurant that serves organic food but they use soy (most of it GMO/non organic) and they use canola oil for cooking. (GMO as well, modified derivative of rapeseed oil stands for Canadian Oil Low Acid , without going into 5 page discussion i’ll just say personally im staying away from canola for variety of health reasons as much as i can. In Kiev when growing up my Mom used podsolnechnoye maslo means sunflower oil for cooking. I’ll just say that I’ll take Sunflower over Canola any time of the day).New Polish Restaurant as mentioned on their website uses organic non GMO ingredients (huge plus for me already). As well as i found out when visited them yesterday they use Sunflower oil instead of Canola oil for cooking and they are the first place that i know of who uses Sunflower. Even high quality food places such as Wholefoods which i visit 2 or so times a week to shop in (as whole foods still very good in comparison to other stores) cooks most of it foods with canola cause it is cheaper than more pristine alternatives. So back on track, interior is clean owner and chef are very friendly and chef is extremely knowledgeable in culinary arts. I’ve learned quite a few things about food when talking to her on Friday.Salads and sauerkraut are tasty and fresh, done just right. Sampled about 70% of their meat offerings, all was very delicious. As of last Friday New Polish Restaurant is my go to place on Fridays (work from home) and Saturdays. Have to admit it is a bit challenging to go there for me daily (lunch break) as my workplace about 10 miles from them but i could see bringing my team there once a week or so for lunch break. ^^At the moment i could not think of any negatives about New Polish Restaurant so I’ll give them definite thumbs up and i consider my self very very very picky when it comes to my food.I hope they prosper and continue providing authentic Polish cuisine to Greater Atlanta metropolitan area! *-*Already sent corporate e-mail about this place to my Alpharetta based team of database administrators and system engineers.Alex/CA|_|_|A
